SINGAPORE, December 10 /ICIS pricing, the world's trusted price reporting service for the global chemical industry has launched a new weekly price report for Europe polyethylene (PE) pipe grade resins. With strong support from the market, an independent price assessment comes at a time of increasing demand for pipe use in construction and new capacity coming on line globally.
The Europe polyethylene (PE) pipe grade report contains weekly contract prices for black, compounded and pressure grade HDPE-based pipe resins. It includes Free Delivered (FD) Northwest Europe (NWE) price quotes for HDPE80 and HDPE100 grades, along with the latest market news and expert commentary.
The addition of the new report follows the successful launch of similar reports covering Middle East/South Asia and Asia. The Middle East/South Asia and Asia reports provide spot price assessments for HDPE80 and HDPE 100 pipe grade resins which are already widely used by market players.
"ICIS pricing already has established benchmarks in the polymers market. PE pipe resin is highly competitive with more market players globally interested in requiring concise, authoritative prices for the European market," said ICIS Editor Stephanie Wilson. "We are pleased to be able launch the Europe report, which should help industry players compete globally and perform efficiently in these challenging times."
